New to boards

Hi,
My name is Becky and I am 47 and live in St. Louis, MO. Finally registered after reading and gathering GREAT info from the boards for the past month or so. I have an only child (dd - age 23) who grew up a Disney kid and LOVES disney anything and has a special attachment to Figment. My dh (56) had never been to a disney park at all until he was 50. Since then we have had him to MK and E, in FL and DL and DCA in CA. We are very excited as this Dec. we are doing our first "immersion" with a stay at POP with the DDP and DT etc. Very excited. We will be there Dec. 23 thru Jan. 1. We know it is crowded as we tend to go over xmas all the time - but we don't care because after all it is Disney. Hope to get to know some of you.

Thanks for all the Welcome messages.

I had surgery this past Tues and it is so much worse than I expected. I haven't felt like doing anything and when I first found out about the surgery I thought I would go back to work this coming Monday. (hahaha). Anyway, glad I feel a little better to at least look at the boards again for a few minutes.

I have a strange question. I have read about the year of a million dreams a lot on various threads. What do you think the chances of are of getting one of the special moments are if your group is all adults? Does that make sense?

I am cutting my hair right before our xmas trip for locks of love so it will be really weird for me when we go. I never thought my hair would grow long enough because it usually goes to my shoulders and stops. But - for whatever reason it decided to grow this time.

Ok, that really was me that posted the message that says unregistered user. I also realized that my thoughts are random and may not make sense. I guess that is what pain meds do to you?
