New to AP rates, other rooms???

I read that I can book our room and up to 3 others with the AP discount. We are doing that in May with another family we are traveling with. But my sister is going a different week in May, can I book a room for her with the AP discount? I won't be along on that trip. Sorry, if what I am suggesting is a no-no, I am totally new to AP. We just got them for the first time in September.

Unless your two trips overlap (even slightly) then my understanding is that the policy is no.. you cannot book a room for her for that separate trip.

You will no doubt read of some people who have gotten away with this. But they can ask to see your AP at check-in.. most confirmations clearly say "AP Pass must be presented at check-in to receive this rate" ... so ...

No. Is the answer.

Thanks, I don't want to break the rules.

We won't be overlapping unfortunately. Her trip and 1 of my trips are business related for our DH's so we can't get the dates together.
