New Tide Spot Remove..Anyone seen it anywhere or used it..may be good for in the park

I tried my Tide pen about an hour ago. My DD (9) spilled several drops of Raspberry Crystal Light on her brand new Limited Too shorts which are khaki. Within 2 minutes I used the Tide pen. The results...nothing! It can't get any fresher than that. So, I whipped out the old standy by: Spray and Wash and they're in the washer now. I swear by Spray n Wash, but on the go..the Shout wipes are awesome. Zout has also gotten out some tough butter stains and SOMETIMES I've used a combo of Spray n Wash AND Zout! I'll give the Tide pen another try, but so far..not impressed!

THANK YOU for that information. It's what I was afraid of so I guess I'll be sticking to shout packets (come on shout, please make a pen - would be easier to carry)

Oh my gosh, I can't believe this, it happened to me too! 2 days ago I also got raspberry Crystal Light on my brand new khaki shorts I just got at Old Navy (the bottle leaked and I didn't realize it). I have sprayed and rubbed in Shout a couple of times and now I am going to rub in some Fels Naptha soap, then I will soak in the washer for a while. I'm praying it works because Old Navy is running out of them at my store. And I need enough shorts to take to WDW so I don't have to do laundry every 3 days (besides, I hang everything to dry which means it takes longer to do laundry).

they have these at Sam's Club in the 3 pack....sounds like Shout is still the best!

what a coincidence! my dd's stain came out w/ just the spray n wash (thankfully). i wish spray n wash would come out w/ wipes too. it's better than shout, but shout wipes are the better "on the spot" treatment for on the go. glad your stain came out too!

I got the Tide pen...tried it on 2 stains (that I've previously washed a few times w/no luck....)...it took out BOTH stains! (one was a grease stain on a cotton navy blue shirt...I was amazed!!)

Wow..I guess it really depends on what the stain is. I am glad your stain came out! I'll keep trying it, but it didn't work on my particular fresh stain.

I have used it twice now..on a fresh salsa stain on my knit shirt last night..and it came right out. Today DH spilled some strawberry juice on his shirt and it worked well too. It takes a minute of rubbing and leaves a wet spot at first, but no stain so far...

I've seen the Tide sticks at Sam's Club. I might try them next time I go!

I bought a Tide to go stick the other day. The second day I had it I noticed a splatter of tomato sauce on a new white tshirt - a few tiny little dots. It came right out with the Tide stick. I was SO impressed.

The next day I picked up a sandwich that had a honey mustard dressing that dripped all down the front of a turquoise shirt. There was quite a bit of it on my shirt so I had to work quite a while to get it all out, but it did work. I had a big wet spot until it dried but no stain, and we all know how bad mustard can stain.

I think I'll have to try the Shout wipes also.

Well, thanks to the Dis boards I picked one of these up last week.

Today I got up at 5am for an early flight, and dribbled coffee down my light blue (cotton) twinset. Grabbed the Tide pen and within seconds the stain was gone - in fact, now that I am finally home I can't even see that the stain existed.

Definitely good for coffee dribblers like me!!!

(I do also use Shout Wipes, but find those are sometimes hard on fine knits, etc. The Tide pen was much kinder to my sweater)

After reading all these great replies I've decided I'm going to keep a Tide pen AND my shout wipes with me! I guess they each have their pros and cons, so why not bring 'em both to cover your bases?

P.S. I'm a spiller. I can't even walk in the kitchen without getting something on me! Oh, and Raspberry Crystal Light is killer. I wouldn't be mad at the Tide pen for not getting that out. If I get any on my fingers it takes a day to come out!
