One of my kids is allergic to shellfish (anaphylactic) and we were able to eat at Tokyo Dining no problems and he had sushi - not sure what else he had. I'm hoping they can still accommodate allergies as well as they used to.I am allergic to "finny" fish, but not shellfish.
I wonder what options they will have for people who cannot eat fish.
Although probably will not risk it to avoid cross-contamination, but it is fun to look at.
Disney is excellent about allergies. If you like the menu I would go. Just tell them it’s an allergy that requires no cross contamination.I am allergic to "finny" fish, but not shellfish.

In general (many trips with my now grown son, who was anaphylactic to milk products—even trace—, eggs, tree nuts and peanuts) and my fish allergy, we have found that the Disney owned restaurants are spectacular, thus the only safe place we could vacation when he was a kid. The non Disney owned restaurants, particularly in Epcot, try, but it isn’t the same level of safety. My concern with a sushi restaurant, is they would need an entire separate food prep counter and utensils without fish exposure, which doesn’t seem fair to ask, unless the plant based area is separate. I will be interested in that as that would be safest.Disney is excellent about allergies. If you like the menu I would go. Just tell them it’s an allergy that requires no cross contamination.

Same thing! I prefer to do the 30th. I cooooould do the 1st but that day is better for me to hit the food booths. Fingers crossed they open soon.I'm actually going to be there during the timeframe of its opening - but I'd need to go opening day. The website won't let me make a reservation yet sadly. Any guess as to when the reservations will open up?
Seems like the website is letting me do a more proper time search compared to the other day, but nothing shows up for any dates I put in (included some picked in September and October randomly). So I don't think they're actually booking yet. It will probably just get switched on randomly lol!Same thing! I prefer to do the 30th.
