Ok- just an FYI to VMK and others who don't know- the colors of Mardi Gras are PURPLE GREEN and GOLD (often yellow)... so why pink and blue and black?

Of course the Pink could go for Valentines day and the Black hat comes out after Mardi Gras ends- as someone mentioned- Mardi Gras Ends at Midnight on February 20th this year- and isn't experienced again until January 6, 2008 for the next season...

I'm excited that they will have things- and really don't expect them to do a special quest on Mardi Gras day- here we are all off school/work that week but most of the rest of the world isn't-

sigh- just when I get my credits back up... lol

I was amazed when I went to mardi gras... the party is 24 hours a day for the days leading up but on Fat Tuesday at Midnight... BOOM everything shuts down, they clear the streets and giant turcks with hose's shoot everything down and clean it up. Midnight on the dot. Amazing.

Yep it is probably the only night the French Quarter closes down at midnight- but if you aren't going to a resturant you are shooed off the streets for sure- no standing around and site seeing

I always feel sorry for those college kids who drive for days from New England and show up mid day on Mardi Gras Day- they have already missed most of the party lol-

Everyone needs to go home sleep off the Mardi Gras Festivities and get up to go to mass on Wednesday Morning lol

And the trucks are an amazing thing to watch- they clean up the day's mess in a matter of hours- all along the parade route- they will follow the last parade and by the time they pass you can barely tell people have been on the streets for the past 5 days- most effecient clean up crew around

sorry to say this, but.... so what you are saying is you can not be bothered to work for this mask, you just want someone to gift it to you because..... Good luck with that.

Maybe you really stink at the games because you just can not be bothered to take the time to get good at any of them.
