DCL almost always premEARS new movies onboard the same day they premiere on land. So I'd say "yes".

It's generally done in the Walt Disney Theater at 12:01 am on the day of the premiere. That would be the midnight that changes the 17th to the 18th.

I received an email reply from DCL when I asked about this back in September, and they indicated that Star Wars is expected to PremEAR on all Disney ships on Dec. 18. I attached a copy of the email (with personal info removed); hopefully you can read it.

DCL rep assured me yesterday that Star Wars would PremEar on our cruise (Magic 12/13-12/18). She couldn't say what time (I'm hoping they will show it at 10pm since it is being shown on land theaters then).

the movie should premier at either 11pm or 12 midnight 12/17. So you will be watching it in the early AM of 12/18. It will show in both theaters probably. Also it will show 2 or 3 times the few days after that.

Instead of a new thread this is a discussion in our meet FB group for the 7 night Bahamas on the Wonder out of Texas. The 17/18 is the last night of the cruise with the morning fot he 18th being disembark if DCL would show Star Wars or not.

It's on Facebook in a closed group. It is similar to the info posted here, but our curiosity is if it's the last night, will DCL still show it to us? Usually Cast and Crew on last night of the cruise is prepping for disembark/embark' of next cruise that it would, unfortunately, make sense they wouldn't want 2/3 of the guest up till 3 or 4 am the morning of disembark. I hope they show it, it was a slight decision factor for me to even book this date thinking id get to see SW on the ship and not fight the crowds,reservation/$20 tickets at home.
