We are a family of four looking at new AP's, and I'm very confused at the new photo pass add on. Do all four of us need to add to make sure we get all photos? Historically if I bought memory maker, the photos for our entire party were included. $400 seems a bit pricy for an add on that used to be included on APs.

Two younger kids and two adults. I suppose I COULD just add to the adults, but the kids like to ride together sometimes too and love having their bands swiped for photos. This is a bit confusing! When I clicked the details of course Stitch ate the page...

You only need to buy one as long as you're linked as Family & Friends.

The checkout process is kind of annoying. You might need to buy one AP first with PhotoPass, and then buy the other three. If you try to buy all four at once, it's going to default to applying PhotoPass to all of them.

You can buy one with the photopass then go back and buy the other three. Since you are all part of the family/friends group in my Disney experience everyone's pictures on your magic bands will show up for the one that has the photopass on their AP.

Only one needs to add it provided the other members of the family is linked to mde as friends & family

HOWEVER you need to purchase the AP with the add on in a separate transaction or else the $99 will be applied to all passes

Thank you thank you!!!! And just to confirm, say I put it on my AP. My phone family is on my account - if hubby and daughter do a trip on their AP their photos will still get captured on my account even if I’m not there right?

Yes. They'll be able to see the photos in their accounts, but with a watermark across them. You'll be able to see and download them without a watermark.
