Just a heads up ... not sure if everyone is aware of the new policy ... I found out the hard way trying to return some things I purchased in late May (still in plastic and not even opened).
The new policy for 'stores' and disneystore.com is 60 DAYS!!!! It used to be either 6 months or a year (very generous, I thought... and convenient).
Unfortunately, the policy changed and it's now only 60 days -- no returns after the 60 day mark. I was rather upset since there are no indication on the website that a new policy is in effect. When I spoke to the cm via the 800 number she said it is stated at the bottom under 'return/exchange' policy. As I pointed out to her, "Yes, I see that now ... but being a regular customer and ordering nearly every month or so I didn't even think or say to myself, 'hey, let's check that return policy and see if it's changed?' There are no notices about the change in policy on the website, in the shipping box, or on the order invoice. I think this is so unfair!
What do you all think? Shouldn't disney have a notice somewhere on the website warning customers about this change. Or did I miss it?
