Memorial Day Weekend Team Baseball Event

To bring Tikis In The Outfield Month to a close in a big way, we'll be offering you two different ways to get your game on.

Team Baseball First, check the Calendar for details on time and place. Enter the Hosted room and be assigned to a team. Two teams per inning, with every player on each team taking a turn at bat. The Host keeps score, and the team with the most runs after all 5 players on each team have been to the plate wins. Only Players that cross home plate count as a run. If a team scores 3 outs, the other team automatically wins the inning. At the end of each inning Players from both teams exit the room and two new teams enter.

Prizes:
- Members of the winning team each get the1963 Tiki Room Opens pin
- Members of the losing team can come back and try again
1 prize per player per day.

Disney Baseball Movie Quests
Each day, Friday through Monday, we will offer a Quest testing your knowledge of a different Disney Baseball movie. Complete the Quest each day and win a different part of the Red Baseball Outfit:

Friday - hat
Saturday - shirt
Sunday - pants
Monday - shoes

Batter UP!!!"

So I'm assuming when girls complete the quests, we get the baseball uniforms as well? It didn't say otherwise, but I can just see myself spending hours on the quests in pursuit of a baseball uniform only to discover I got a red cheerleader uniform. That's no knock on cheerleading, but I love baseball and was so excited-- and soon after really disappointed-- about the uniforms.

I agree! I dont know anything about baseball movies other than the "If you build it they will come" thing and really I only know that becasue of Waynes World! UGH! I am happy to hear that it sounds like the girls will be able to get a uniform too! Heres to hoping!

4 different Disney baseball movies? Maybe my memory's failing, but the only Disney baseball movie I can think of is 2002's The Rookie with Dennis Quaid and Angels in the Outfield.

There's plenty of baseball movies out there, from The Natural, to For Love of the Game, to Field of Dreams, to A League of Their Own, to Benchwarmers, and Bull Durham. But they sure as anything weren't Disney baseball movies. Anyone else know what the other 2 might be?

Ah, okay. In a couple of cases at least (Air Bud and Angels in the Infield), I forgot about the "Direct to Video or TV" sequel love affair that Disney's had over the last 10 years or so.

I just did a search as well (just "baseball movies" in the AOL search), and Tiger Town from 1983 came up. Never heard of that 1 either. No doubt wikipedia and IMDB will be coming in handy this weekend...

I know, I was just listing baseball movies I knew of and saying none of those were Disney. That movie probably would have a better chance than Bull Durham though if it was a quest on baseball movies from any studio! Actually, I was originally going to type "But they sure as anything weren't Disney baseball movies (and for good reason, in a few cases!)."
