New Pop Century Discount for AP holder, and FL residents

I'm being a 4 year old brat here, but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that they have AP offers for hotel stays, but not allowing new sales of AP's. I appreciate that they open the discount up to FL residents. However, it is annoying that there is AP deals to be had, while not being able to buy a new AP?

The only days available on the calander for park entrance are AP this summer... so fustrating.

I have been holding off buying ap for Uni in the hopes that Disney ap world make a comeback.

The cynic in me says maybe they are trying to convince people to keep APs going to maintain access to benefits they may want down the road. It works in that I decided to recover my AP even though I’m not sure when I’m going to actually use it. Meanwhile, they have my money.

what is the usual percentage discount at Pop Century for AP or FL residents??
