Has anyone heard anything about the Haunted Mansion and Pirates Quest. I heard since HM is gonna under rehab to install HMH that there will be a pirate quest. It is provide Pirate Suit(not the pin), palm tree(special one), Pirate chest(new color) and a few more stuff. Anyone heard anything (rumored to be out today)

We did the VMK tour on Saturday. After we did the HM insider tour, she said that very soon the HM tour was going to stop, (coinciding with the rehab in Ca.) and a new POTC quest would start. She didn't hint to any of the prizes, just said it would be great new prizes that would make you the envy in all the kingdom.

NO sorry TLinden but the HM quest has already stopped at DL so it is reported....I did post this earlier today in the Mule Ball thread. very sad news.

But the Good NEws is the POC quest has already begun at DL but the bad news is I have none of the answers

From what is being "Rumoured" and right now I think this is just a rumour...until a DISer can confirm this to be a real and happening Quest.

It is supposed to be at WDW also.

I was in a room with Yavn yesterday and he confirmed that this would take place first in Disneyland and then in WDW. But no dates were given. I am going to WDW next week and am wondering now if I'll be going on the HM Quest or the Pirates Quest.... I guess it doesn't really matter except that I don't want to be down at WDW after they get rid of the HM Quest, but before they have started up the Pirates Quest yet. Oh, that will REALLY stink!!!

Well, I can confirm first hand that as of this past Sunday it was still the HM Quest. There was no mention of the Pirates quest there.
