I called Disney to compare a package price to the one that I was planning on paying through AAA. The CSR was very kind/patient, quoting me a price slightly lower than the AAA rate, so I decided to go with it. After she'd calculated the total cost, she said, "Oh, you have a pin! A special pin for a free hopper add on." :goodvibes Turned out I could book the same package - room, base tickets, and DDP using the pin for only $133 more - but it would give me park hopper for my 6 night stay (for 4 of us adults)! Having priced this multiple ways/days - it seems that although the park hopper isn't exactly "free" as they called it, since I would be paying more than my original package total to add it, the cost for adding it on at $133 is at least $200 less than it normally would be...Dare I hope that I finally found a pin and it was worth it?! Should I be excited!!??:yay:

Anyone else have this pin pop up today?

Congrats on your pixie dust! I have never traveled with a pin, they never pick me! :confused3 I did score a great deal on Orbitz though!

Yes, that's the summer discount PIN. You get a percent off your room anywhere from 15% to 30%, and you get a free Parkhopper as long as you stay 5 nts or longer.

I just checked my spam and I got it too! This is the second season's pin in a row I have gotten and can not use! Unless I get really good news about our taxes!:worship: I am just going to keep clicking on trips and putting them in a cart until we can actually go and maybe the stars will align with a pin for THAT time frame!:rotfl:

I got the same pin and I ended up having to pay $39 more total to have Park Hopper for our family of 4 for 8 days.....less than $10 per person was well worth it. We are going in July so I think it will be beneficial at that time of year.

Do you get park hopper park passes for free or just the park hopper option?

So you are all just calling and finding out you have a pin? How are you getting emails? What would it say in the subject?

I like to tell people when they call for the first time asking to just play dumb about it and say something like, "a friend at work got an email that has a number with it and she got a great deal for her vacation" and then just play along with some of the topics below.......

"Do you have any discounts associated with my address", "does my address have a PIN code", or " could you check other names at my address" (if lets say husband is registered with an email seperate than yours):thumbsup2

Call multiple times is another tip
