New! Pg 26! May 2013 - The Nolonger Tickerless, disorganized PTR. FINALLY GOING HOME!

CM friend #1 says: "Of course! I know as a character I LOVE doing stuff like that :) It makes my day! I know you have to be a little careful of having characters saying things on camera/holding up signs, so make sure you double check with the character attendant before asking the character to do anything, but it should be just fine!*"

Good sign so far! :)

That is great news! Good for you and I think it will be beautiful.

CM friend #2- "I think that is a wonderful idea.! You can have them say hi or say something about dreams and wishes. I think if you just tell them what it is for and have them just say something it will be magical.!

When do you plan on coming to do this.?
"

Also, the first friend said if I remind her when we are going...shell give me suggestions on some of her favorite friends of characters!

Thank you!

It's dorky , but I'm even more excited now! Someone else could get as much out of the trip as I do!

Hmm. Kinda almost considering Yak and Yeti to eat. Anyone been?

Would love insight on it, Sanaa, and 1900 P Faire...

Sounds like good news re: video from your two CM friends! :thumbsup2

Never been to Yak & Yeti, but we have it booked for this year on many recommendations. Sounds good. I didn't like 1900 PF for breakfast when I went... yucky cold, rubbery food and very unfriendly cms... but others have such good experiences that I have to wonder if I didn't go on an off day. :confused3 whatever the case, I had such a bad experience that I refuse to go back.

I know!:)

Hmm. Wed be doing dinner. I hear the stepsisters are great. But are Alice characters at breakfast?

Excited.... Finally some planning.

I need to go through our restaraunts and figure oop costs. We only have 6 TS credits, I believe. And character meals are butchering that. Eek!!

Be back with that info later!

Oh, this is time consuming.
But, it's planning, so I don't mind at all. :)
Going through, and pricing what DH and I would normally order... just trying to decide what to pay oop, and what goes on our DDP. Thankfully, it doesn't look like we have any that take up 2 TS credits... so we're getting off easy there....

TS Options

Be Our Guest -kinda up in the air on this one. Is it still going to be CS for lunch, but TS for dinner?

Via Napoli Calamari - $14. BYOP- Individuals $16 Large (we'd split) $28 . Toppings, 3.50 each. Already built pizzas, $18, $30. The wine I like, $10. So, eating here, basically would be $60 tops, less if we passed on the calamari. Might be the smart one to do OOP.

Rose and Crown - Fish 'n' Chips, $18.We didn't get dessert either time we've gone, or an appetizer, I don't think. Well, I got a cappuccino once, wasn't crazy about it. There are a few other options that DH might want, the salmon possibly... So, here would be about $40 bucks, assuming I don't get a drink. Another good OOP place.

Ohana Best Friends Breakfast. Adult price range: $22.36-$26.62; depending on the day. So it'd be about $50 total

1900 Park Faire Character meal _ I'm more interested in the characters at dinner, DH would like breakfast more.... Looks like these would be a good idea to keep on the DDP, rather than OOP.

Breakfast: Characters: Mary Poppins, Alice, and the Mad Hatter. Price About $30. Fluctuates.
Dinner: Characters: Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella Price: About $40 a piece, fluctuates.

Sanaa Not sure what we'd get here, but it's a pricier one. At least compared to some of our others. Maybe between $50-60?

CS Options
, just in case. I swear, we aren't using any of our CS Meal credits... I've used a few at Mara in the mornings, splitting a breakfast with DH... but. We like the TS places more. :/

Tangerine Cafe
San Angel Inn

So we ate at Yak and Yeti for the first time on our last trip, and we both loved it. the dumplings were amazing.....

My DH still talk about his food there.

here are some pics from there of our food......

Bah. I saw a picture of it in the food thread, and got all excited. Then I saw the menu, and wasn't sure... :confused3 Nothing stood out immensely.

Same with Sanaa. I was all excited to try it, it's been on my list forever.... and it's like, Boma mixed with Indian food, looks like?

I hate having limited dining slots. Can't I just eat all day?

We do go to Disney to eat! Some of the best food around.... One of our best meal was at Flying Fish, and we love V&A's.

Sigh. Almost forgot about Flying Fish. I want to actually make it to the Boardwalk this time, instead of getting lost.:(

HOW WAS V&A!?

I'm tempted. But it's expensive....

EDIT: Ahh..the Eco-tini. I've put off ordering that two trips. Is it good? Do you like the bracelet?

I really liked the tini and ended up buying some of the acai berry liquor once I got home.

The bracelet is wooden beads on an elastic cord. Nothing special but it just comes with it.

V&A's is amazing and we really enjoyed it, all adults and all delectable food and wines (beer too). We had a great time, I am sure we will go back again, but there are so many places we have not been to yet, so we try to keep finding new places.

Definitely trying the tini this time then.

I know what you mean about so many places!

Still mulling over food places.
Can't book till....December, I think? DH books through SW. Only let's you book 6 mo out.:(

Also. Started a tumblr for this video project. ProjectPixieDust.tumblr.com

Obviously, not much up yet, but!

SW books more than 6 month now.... It is open thru March right now. just as an FYI for you...

Ok so march is 6 months from now,,, but I do know that I was able to book a flight at the 7 month mark, not too long ago. Not sure if it was a promotion or what, but I would watch out for it.

Trying to make it thru this week... It has been a tough one.

I wish I was planning a Disney trip, but I guess I will have to wait..
