I made my ADRS!
All except Victoria and Albert's. I didn't know they had their own line, and its not open to call right now. An hour or so, and I'll call back!
Feeling the coffee buzz, and I can't miss out on this one!
Only hitch was - I guess Matt booked it with a PO Box? Probably the address he has on the card.. He works in Sand Springs, and we normally use his office address... so I started to give the CM that one...
Nope! Wrong!
So I start rattling off that I know its Sand Springs.... and I know they sometimes use a PO box, but I don't know what it is.....
No problem, she was nice. She asked for the number. So I give her DH's cell number.
WRONG AGAIN.
Good grief!
So with her on the phone, I google the office, and ask her if its that number.
Ding ding! Finally, a good answer. Sheesh.
Anyway. Got everything I could booked.
Also told the lady (or rather, answered when I was asked) we were celebrating our 5th anniversary there. She said that it was noted on the account, but not what number. She added the number, because "You gotta get credit for all of those years!"
At first, she seemed kinda stand off ish, like I might have been annoying her - but she was super sweet to talk to. She asked my favorite restaurant, we chatted about that for a bit. Before I hung up, I asked hers, which seemed to surprise her.
It was Teppan Edo, except when she wants steak. But she doesn't have steak much anymore, she's had some medical issues, and is eating much healthier. Is avoiding lots of medication that way, actually. Made my day, and she seemed really surprised I asked her about it. I guess people don't exactly make small talk while making ADR's. ;-)
