Just wanted to share something that my family and I found to be quite interesting. We recently purchased new tickets to WDW and read something interesting in the fine print on the back of the tickets. It said that they would "not be valid at any theme park opening after 1999". Hmmmmm?!!! Obviously the year 1999 refers to the year the animal kingdom opened, but this is at least interesting and could lead to speculation. What do they have cooking over there???

It means about as much as the monorail right of way written into the Saratoga Springs DVC contracts.

I don't think its leads to speculation just if they ever do add another park it's not valid there. It is unlikely that we will see a new park in the next 25 years maybe longer. Disney needs to maintain and build up the parks they have.

You're probably right about it being a while before anything would happen. I only mention because we've had tickets for about 10 years and haven't seen anything of the like

I haven't had a MYW for awhile (I always get AP's) but I thought that was always on there.

It's sort of a pain to convert old tickets and include. Animal Kingdom. Since I worked Guest Relations at AK we would see it often where someone had a ticket converted incorrectly and could not enter because the ticket did not know AK existed! I would assume it was decided that after the opening of AK any non expired tickets would not be valid for any additional parks.
