New Paris CD

I've read that a new DLRP cd is to be released... Does anyone know of the tracklisting, or can point me to a thread that has it?

Okay, now you've got me searching! No tracklisting, but DLP.info posted this yesterday.

"After reports several weeks ago that a sucessor to this CD would be released later this year, in the meantime all remaining copies have disappeared in the shops of the resort. A hint? Seems so, as the mail order department officially confirmed that the new album will be released this month! Still no word on the track listing, but orders can already be placed..."

So if they really mean THIS month, it shouldn't be too long a wait to find out!!

According to mail order it won't be ready to be sent out until August 15th - I guess that's an indictaion of when it will be available in the park too. I had originally hoped to get it when we went last week - now it looks like I'll either get it via mail order or wait until Christmas to pick up a copy...or two!

No word on what songs will be on there yet - I'm hoping for Wishes, Fantillusion, Animagique and Cinemagique for starters.

Anyway to order it while we are there and have it shipped when it comes in? We collect Disney Park Cd's (it's a bit of an obsession) -- and will be making our first trip to DLRP next week. Are any copies of the current cd (I guess it's old now) available anywhere?

Une Journee a Disneyland Paris is not available any more - making way for the new one I guess. There are several 'cd sinlge' type CDs available: Fantillusion, Kid's Carnival, Princess Parade and there are also a couple of albums: Disney Parades, Legend of the Lion King etc..

I'm a bit of a DLRP CD colector too - well, I'm a bit of a DLRP merchandise collector in general!

Where do you guys get your park cds if not in the park themselves? I've picked up a couple of parade cds whilst there - that music is so flipping catchy! and I've a few ordinary Disney CDS I've bought elsewhere but can't find the park ones anywhere. Any suggestions greatly received

Has the new DLRP CD come out yet? I'd like to order it if it has!

I bought every cd I could find while we were there last month! La Parade du Monde Merveilleux Disney "Dancin' a Catchy Rhythm" is heard a LOT around our house now!

Not out yet - it was supposed to be out 2 weeks ago but nothing yet. As long as it's out br Christmas so I can pick 1 (2, 3?) up then I'll be happy!

Animagique, Cinemagique, Fantillusion and Wishes with all the old faves - I'm a happy bunny!

The Wishes track is just 3 minutes long, Fantillusion, Animagique and Cinema Parade are trimmed down. And most of the other tracks were already on the old cd. Not so good news if you ask me....

But on the other hand, DLRP has also released a new Halloween- lo -ween cd, with 7 additional versions of the song! If you've visited DLRP last year with halloween, you must remember the great versions they had in Main Street and Frontierland. Well those are now on that new cd.

I've finally got a copy of the CD, first impression - the front cover is hideous!

The first track is "All Around the World" which I believe is from the "Imaginations Parade", I don't really understand why it is on there. There is some other general main street music which is very nice. The Phantom Manor soundtrack is on there which is great as always as well as general music from each of the lands.

"Dancin' a Catchy Rhythm" is there and exactly the same as the single, there is a "Legend of the Lion King" track in the "Discoveryland" section but NO space mountain track, which I am really disappointed with

Under the "Magical Lights of the Night" we get the "Fantillusion Theme" which is basically the start of the Magical Garden theme variation and the happy ending variation joined together to create a 03.23 minute track, very disappointing indeed.

There is also a "Wishes Medley" which is basically the show up the part where the Blue Fairy starts to say "Genie, Genie, Genie!". However there are no lyrics at all - no blue fairy, no jimminy or any other character voices on this track, just the music.

There are also four tracks from Animagique which seems pointless as you can buy them seperatly. The "Disney Cinema Parade" section includes the 33 second opening window and the "Lights!!! Camera!!! Action!!!" track that was used for the now discontinued parade stops, why they have included this I just can't work out. The "Finale" is also there too.

The last track is the "Need Magic" charity song.

I'm glad I got the CD, it's very nostalgic. It could however have been a lot better .
