New Parade

Just read a thread on another site which says the Princess Parade finished today and the new parade starts tomorrow.

If this is right it means those going in next few days will be first to see parade.
It also means we may get some info about it before we set off next weekend

Strange though that the offical site has the Princess Parade running until the 30th.

that will be a bit strange if it it will be as its co-inciding with the 15th celebrations, and and in the brochures, tv and website as the 1st...i guess we will just have to watch this space, but i will be very suprised to see it being early

The princess / wwod parade finished today with a farewell performance, reports even state that the Steamboat Willie dancers returned for a day. Disney's once upon a dream parade will start being performed from tomorrow for a soft run of 7 days before the press day on the 31st March 2007, when it officially premieres.

Could be happening as my friend, who works in travel, had an invite for this weekend and was assured she would see the new parade!

It's happening TODAY, The Once Upon A Dream Parade will premier at 4pm!!


Obviously with the huge media presence next week (1700 journalists) the parade has to be perfect! And this week will be basically "public rehersals" but still a great show.

I'm half way through the album and the new floats are fabulous.
6 days and I get to see it for real.

I almost didn't look at them so as not to spoil the surprise, but I couldn't help myself. It looks fantastic. Can't wait to see it.

we saw the parade today and loved it.
I have posted some pictures however they are not very good, we did not know it was going to be on and saw from the castle club lounge so me and DD went quickly to the park and managed to catch the parade even though it was very busy and all the best spots had been taken.

We also saw them rehearse at nigh as well as them testing the lights and candles, unfortunately I was unable to get any pictures of this as it was dark.
