From the Mousesavers site:

Disney is offering discounted packages for stays 1/1/07-3/8/07 (1/12/07-1/14/07 may be blacked out). The packages include discounted accommodations and Magic Your Way tickets, plus FREE Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More ticket upgrades.

You must book using a Disney Rewards Visa card. No group rates or other discounts apply. The number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited. Tickets and options must be used within 14 days of first use. Water Parks subject to seasonal and weather closures.

A similar package for the general public is expected to be released 11/2/06.

To book the Disney Visa package, request booking code ZCJ for the standard Magic Your Way package, or ZCI for Magic Your Way Plus Dining.

Won't help me out as we are looking at April, but maybe this will help someone!

fyi, just applied the "ZCI" code to
my existing myw value resort 6 nite 7 day w/ dining + p/h
on 1/14 - 1/20 (also am stuck with the preferred room surcharge, which i cant seem to shake, but i guess there are worse things to be stuck with)

price went from 2223
to 1960
savings of 263

not bad i guess.
and oh they threw in the water parks
not really impressed with that but i guess i will try em.

How many adults and children was that for if you don't mind me asking? :)

Thanks!

For 2 adults, 1 child (and a 2 yo, but she's free!), WL woods view, with dining, park hopping, no insurance, I went from $3279 to $2878 using the ZCI code. WOO HOO! I was already happy to get exactly what I wanted and paying the $3279, so the code is a bonus and I'm just happy that I was on top of things to save $400! (My original budget was to stay under $3000, but DH pointed out that going 10 percent over isn't bad!) We probably won't use the "water parks and more" options (I can't imagine going to a water park with a 2 yo, even if a water park is open), but it still saves $400!

Can you tell that I'm excited???? I called to brag to DH, but he was at lunch and couldn't talk to give me the "good job" talk.

I really appreciate these boards and mousesavers, where I kept an eye out for codes and saw the new codes there today.

oops sorry,
my mistake,
tried to give good info and forgot a key part.

that trip was for my family of 5
Me and my lovely disney wife.
and D.S. 8,
D.D. 5,
and Stitch, our own 2 year old monster who doesnt cost us , (money anyway)

Sounds like the same promo as last year. Did they extend the dates out to April last year?

The VISA discount was helpful. I called yesterday and for $2450 we got a package for two adults and a junior (14 yrs old) at Port Orleans Riverside for 6 nights in late February. The package includes 7-day tickets with both park-hopping and the water park & fun options and the package also includes the Disney dining plan. The total would have been $1750 without the dining plan. If I had used my AAA discount for a room only and purchased the tickets separately, it would have been about the same cost but we wouldn't have gotten the hopping and water park/fun option. It might not be the greatest deal in history but every little bit helps! We've never taken the dining plan before and aren't sure whether it's a good deal or not. We usually eat in the food court for dinner and counter meals in the parks. But, we decided to try it this time. We scheduled a dinner at the Castle and a couple of other meals that we probably wouldn't have done had we not had the plan.

I'd be curious to know if people who have taken the dining plan do it again or if they decide it wasn't worth it?

We just got our 8 night January stay at POR from $3431.74 to $3027.49!!! It saved us $404.25. Our plane tickets went down last Thursday and now this! This is great. And we got the water parks and more. I think my kids will really like Disney Quest. We are quite happy with the discount. We have 2 adults and 3 juniors in our room with the park hopper and dining.

Great news for those traveling during those dates! Every little bit helps :thumbsup2

But, wow, how kind of them to throw in free water parks in Jan and Feb! I hope Florida has unusually hot days :rotfl2:

Yeah, the water parks are kind of iffy. We were there in February of 2006 and there was no swimming for me! Way too cold. But, if the water parks are even open we'll be there now that we've got them for free!

Darn! I am going the 10th through the 17th. I am still hoping for something!!

is the code just for 6day packages? And how do you do this, just call and ask them to apply the code to the existing ressie? My ressie is already paid for---does this make a difference. thanks in advance

OK, stupid question, do you just call CRO and ask them about the Visa offer? I have the card.

I apologize for this question....but does anyone know the breakdown on the discount?

Liiiike - is it like 20% off the room, or anything like that?

I know you get the waterpark and more option, for free....but is the room discounted, and if so, by how much? Is it the whole package that is discounted?

Thanks all - waiting IMpatiently until tomorrow, as I am not a Visa Card Holder. :guilty:

I just called and my 4 night package for 1 person at POP went from $801 to $668. Not bad but still $50 more that I paid last year for the same package at the same time.
They offered me the dining in the package and said it was also discounted but when she added it into the cost it was not. The dining was still $39 a night.
If my calculations are right it looks like the room went down to about $99 and the free upgraded ticket, total savings $133.

just call and ask to apply that 3 letter code, they will ask ifyou have a visa card. (i already paid my deposit with it so i did not have to give it again)

as for the breakdown, i think its mostly the free parkhopper thing.

waterpark tix are a joke.

OK, answered my stupid question. I just called CRO and booked WL, standard view for 3 nights, with dining, 4 day PH with water park option and paid $1240, as opposed to the $1466 quoted on the website for only 3 day PH, no water park option.

Cathryn Rose, I can't answer your question totally, but the CM said I needed to book a 4 day PH with water park option. Originally, I only wanted 3 day with PH only, no water park. You either need to book one more ticket day than your number of nights, or it's just because I had the minimum number of nights for the package. Does that make sense?. ALSO, you MUST book the PH AND water park options. She said this was part of the promotion, they are giving it to you "free". She tried to get me what I wanted (the 3D PH only) but the computer wouldn't "accept it" and believe me she was wonderful and tried. I guess that's good if you are going to use it anyway. It's only another $80 if I want the no expiration option, also, so I am considering that, too.

There is definitely some kind of room discount in there somewhere, since I am still saving over $200 and getting an extra day of park tickets with options.

Does that help?

Can you apply the code on their website? Maybe I have never looked close enough. Or do I have to call to get the special?

I was just told the code can not be booke yet because it is "too new", but that no one else can book it either, so call back tomorrow.
Should I call and try someone else??
