I did some math this afternoon to try and "predict" this deal. With the limited information we have - that an example of the discount would be a family of 4 for $999 at a value for 4 nights, 5 days - I used the cost of tickets to try and determine the room discount.
Remember this is just me playing around, and I could be totally off. . . but I'm hopeful to see what the moderate and deluxe deals may be!!
OK so we have this deal for 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child.
5 day base ticket based on WDW site - $734
Which means $ 66.25 a night ($265 total)
That's if the $999 doesn't include tax - if it does, then the room would be just under $55 . . . but I'm not THAT hopeful to think it's $999 and that's it. Although it would be nice! But if you take the value season rack rate, it looks to be about 15% off. If they're figuring $999 based on regular rack rate which covers the bulk of the anticipated time frame, then we're looking at closer to 35%.
