Hi!

I have been reading the boards now for about a year, gathering up all the helpful information from everyone (actually that is what made me switch to a "disney" hotel)... but then I started having questions so thought I would join in on the fun!


Traveling with Husband- his first time ever staying in a Disney hotel, my first time as an adult! We will be staying in the Yacht club, so any tips we will take them! We do not have children yet (this is our big trip before we start that whole process). So it is just the two of us!

Welcome! I think you'll love the Yacht Club. My parents stayed there one year when my sister was doing the College Program. It was a last minute trip so the only room they could get was concierge, and my Dad kept joking, "We suffered."

The proximity to Epcot is excellent and the pool, Stormalong Bay, is second to none.

Disney is not just for kids! Be sure to book a relaxing, couples dinner at one of the signatures - I'd recommend Jiko, or California Grill for a quieter, adult atmosphere. But if you want fun and a lively atmosphere try Raglan Road. Be sure to check out the menus (posted here on the boards) and read some reviews. Planning is half the fun!
