New Orleans Airport to reopen 9/19

I know several people had connections to make through NO -- perhaps they will go smoothly!

In a small sign of progress, authorities said the New Orleans airport will reopen to commercial flights on Sept. 19. Caldwell said water and power are functioning at the airport.​

MSNBC was running it on a thread across the tv screen earlier this evening. I tried to look it up but could find nothing further. I know the message on SW's site regarding MSY was updated today. It looks like it will be a long time before SW is flying full force out of MSY.

I just checked Delta's schedule and they are selling tickets out of MSY starting Sept 15.
