new option for pop up rental

I know there has been a need for this since the other company shut down, but Greenberg RV rental put on their FB page they have 5 new pop UPS (I believe, I haven't looked closely at the pics) for rent for between $400-500 for the week. Just thought I would pass it along!

As a popup guy I would like to see what they have and the rates. It would be a neat business niche to run some popup rentals to the Fort.

I emailed and they said it was not a hybrid so I am waiting to see if it is actually a Popup. Their FB page shows this though...it looks like a Hybrid to me-?

A Coachmen Clipper 16RBD is a hybrid, either they have the wrong picture up or they have no clue what a hybrid is.

I was going to say the same thing. It appears that it doesn't matter which of the floor plans you get . The differences seem like it's either a Hybrid or a TT (Smaller one) but none actually appear to be a "True" pop-up. At least based on the model from the link above. Coachmen does have a Clipper brand with several different floor plans that are Pop-ups http://www.coachmenrv.com/product-details.aspx?LineID=66&Image=6737

I thought so too, but this is the reply I got via email when I said it looked like a Hybrid to me:

"The campers are not hybrids. They are just smaller campers. They are not available to rent as the details for the little campers are being worked on"



So, neither a hybrid or a popup, just a small camper...which is still pretty nice!

I was about to call WDW to try to work out different sleeping arrangements for the girls' graduation trip. But if this was at our campsite instead of my tent, it would definitely put my mind at ease! AND my husband would definitely be okay with increasing our budget by this amount. (I hadn't anticipated putting "peace of mind" in the budget. *sigh*) I called Greenberg & left a message and sent them a FB message. Haven't heard back from them yet... The next step will be asking/begging Disney to let me bring it into the campground. Hopefully they'll for me. I would SO much rather stay at Ft. W than a hotel room, but I hadn't been able to figure out a way to make that happen. Happy thoughts

The camper is available! It took a little time, but CM Kennedy found a full hook-up site for us! Now I don't have to choose between sleeping in a tent or giving up our time at Ft. Wilderness! (I think I cried during every phone conversation throughout the process. I didn't realize I was still in such a raw emotional state.) Now I just need to prepare myself for the "new normal" at WDW. *sigh* So grateful that I don't need to adjust to a "new normal" at home.
