If the new offer that is being announced on 12/21 is for a minimum stay of 5 days and you are going to WDW for 10 or maybe 12 days, can you make 2 separate ressie's to get 2 gift cards? What if you break up your stay between 2 resorts? Would you get 2 gift cards? Thanks for any help!!

Yes you can do a split stay reservation. You might think about even checking out 2 different resorts. :thumbsup2

What is the new offer? It almost sounds like the free gift card they had last year. If so, I did use it last year and can answer questions on it.

What were the restrictions?

I just found the thread with this offer and posted the answer to your question there. Check it out.

Basically book minimum 5 days (any resort), up to 3 rooms per PIN travelling together (we booked 2 , 2 $500 cards)

Purchase minimum 1 day pass pp. (we got 1 day passes)

$500/ 5 night stay, $400/ 4 night stay #300/ 3 night stay (what you would get per room for length of stay.

Receive the giftcard upon arrival, IT WAS GOOD FOR food, tickets, etc.- NOT LIKE THE OTHER $395/$500 card.

We used one card for food (along with T in W card !! Great discount plus Disney free card) and the other for my son to get an AP( with the pass along discount as well)

Hope this helps. Don't forget this was last years offer!

It does, thanks!

I called Disney reservation today. I begged until I finally got it out of him! He said the deal comes out to the general public on 12/21 this Monday!! He said he does involve a gift card and is not a pin-code..that was all that he could tell me.

Your welcome everyone!!! I thought it was kind out cute that his name was "prince". Prince charming delivered us the good news!!:tink:

I read on another code board thread that the cards might not be good on dining and you would have to book rack rate.... hmmm, doesn't sound too great to me. Glad we could already book with 4/3. I think they would need to offer a bit more for the folks waiting for something. :rolleyes1

Why?

They said they need to cut back on the deals. This fits in on that thinking. You still get a deal but you have to pay normal rates. Win win really.

I never buy souvenirs, now I have no excuse not to.
