Got my Visa offer in the mail today - free QUICK dining through 7/3. I'm looking for August dates with regular dining. Guess we're vacationing somewhere else this year!

Sounds like they don't have enough bookings yet for the summer and want those of you waiting around for fall free dining to cave and book for summer.

Don't give up. They'll be desperate for fall bookings too!

Hey that'd be great for us. How did you get that? In your mailbox or email? Is there a code to use? I don't mean a PIN but one of the other kind.

I got one today too.
The return address is Disney Destinations LLC, Lake Buena Vista.
But on the flier it says that Disney Visa cardholders get a promotional APR yadda yadda. So I'm not sure if that means it's from Walt Disney World or from Visa.

In any case, it doesn't matter. We're booked for Late October/early November. It's going to be a fabulous trip. If we get a discount for room or dining that will make it all the better.

I truly hope those of you who want one too get one in the mail tomorrow!

maybe it is a pin offer - it has Disney Visa on the postcard. I just hope it's not an indication of things to come. We can't go in the fall and our family doesn't enjoy quick dining.

We have two Disney Visa accounts and have never received any type of special offer through them :confused3

For $10/person per day you can upgrade to the DDP.

OP - Besides a phone number to book, there will be either a several digits long number (PIN) or a 3 chararcter code (CODE).

If it's the latter, please post it so others may jump on it. If it's a PIN, then it's unique and only good for you.

It has a pin number, sorry. Guess I'll wait a little longer to see if anything else is offered before I book a trip somewhere else. It's getting late and I'd like to get my airfare and everyone's vacation settled!

That equals $60 a day x 6 days which is not a good deal when I'm paying full rack rate for the room. We'd like to go to WDW but we can get a 3 bdr villa at the beach, airfare & all food included for 1/2 the price if we don't get a great deal with Disney, bummer.

I have a Disney Visa and haven't gotten anything by snail mail or email. Oh well, now I'm hoping for some type of bounceback..

When you are talking about 6 people (4 teens) free dining is about the only plan that makes it feasible to go to WDW from a budger perspective - you're talking almost a $2000 savings. I can get a beautiful condo at a Florida beach or near Busch Gardens and save half. Disney is a luxury for a large family so we have to have a great offer in this uncertain economy to entice us to go!

Wow! I would think feeding six adults (by Disney's standards) for $60 a day IS a good deal. Silly me.

Not when you're already paying $4000 for a hotel (not condo) and park tickets. Not to mention tips which cost us another $200!

Silly me to live within our means! Sorry, we have a budget in our family and I have to look for good deals.

How long are you going for?

There are always ways to cut costs. Get 2 rooms at a Value Resort. Even at 10 nights, you could cut more than $1,000 off of that $4,000 price tag.

ETA: You're going for 6 days and spending $4,000????? Did I read that correctly?

Sorry but it sounds like you arent living within your means here? If I am going to pay 4 grand for a hotel I want to be able to afford it first.

Something doesn't add up here. $4,000 for 6 days??? Park tickets for 6 days for 6 people would be about $1,500. So, you're spending $2,500 on a hotel for 6 nights? That's over $400 per night.

Sorry, but you don't need a Free Dining offer. You just need to stay at a less expensive hotel.

We'd all love to stay deluxe, but sometimes, you gotta make choices. If you really want to go and you're on a budget, don't spend $400+ per night on a hotel.

I agree with you. They make you pay full rack rate to get the discount so of course we're all looking for the best deal we can get.
Disney is most cost effective for a family of 4.

My family of 5 paid $2600 last year for 5 nights at the Poly during value season with park passes (one of my kids is a disney "kid") with free dining in a Garden View (base) room, so 6 nights with 6 adults for $4000 is not out of he realm of possiility for a deluxe.
