For all those on the East Coast. Especially Long Island, NYC, and New Jersey. The new World of Disney store opened on 55th and 5th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) in October. My mother and I got to visit the store last night. It is 3 floors with many things that you find while visiting WDW. In fact we so several things that we had lugged back to New York. So it might be a good idea to check out this store before your Disney trip. Since it is x-mas season they did have several holiday items (ornaments, stuffed animals, afgan, etc). The first floor had these items including some buttons, postcards from WDW, children clothes, kitchen items, candy's, kitchen toaster, waffle maker.
The 2nd floor had snow globes (make sure you have the small snow globes bubbled wrap. We did not and I have to go back today because my busted in the bag on the way home. They had some more stuffed animals, the mickey hand glove, only a few scrapbook items, WDW coaster for cups, pens, the car antena in mickey shape, kits of the monorail, space ship earth, polynesian, Magic Kingdom train, a 3 DVD box set of the Lion King, Aladdin DVD, the new Mulan DVD.
The third floor is very small and more for the princess in your life. You could have your picture and a day with Cinderella (since we don't have kids we don't know the details. Princess dresses. It did have the Mickey Mouse computer, tv, clock, radio, VCR and computer games, more DVD and tapes (they had only one Candelight Procession CD - no we did not get it) and a DVD of X-mas at Walt Disney World which I bought.
Check out their website at www.worldofdisney.com. It is small but could tell you about the Princess photos and time with the princess that I could not.
