New Myw Package Discount And Ticket Upgrade ?

When they had this promo last year, (free water parks and hopping), did anyone upgrade that ticket to an annual pass or use it towards the renewal of your annual pass?
My husband will be renewing his annual pass and seeing as everyone on the rservation needs a ticket I was wondering if;
When they upgraded the MYW ticket what price did they credit?
Would it be what we actually paid for the ticket (base price) or the dollar value of the ticket (Base + hopping + water parks).

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!
