Looks like Pirates of the Caribbean 2 will be released in 2006. More details can be found here however they've only just announced the movie and haven't even written the script yet. It is rumored that the sequel may carry the subtitle "Treasure of the Lost Abyss," which refers to the first pirate ship that sailed in the Caribbean.

Also, Depp will star as Willy Wonka in a modern version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I dunno how this is going to compare. I'm partial to the old classic one myself.
