I just ordered my DS one at the Laughing Place yesterday. It didnt say anything about being sold out or having to wait for a back order.

You might want to try there. With shipping and handling it was about $13.40.

Now I dont know. It looked like the one at the beginning of this post. Where did you see the different colors? I didnt know there were different colors. Oh well, I guess we will be surprised (and hoping for gold.)

Well, I'm not sure they come in different colors. I was going by what the picture looked like on laughingplace.com website. I only saw 1 "Happiest Celebration on Earth" badge and it really looks black to me. Maybe its my computer or the way the light was shining on the badge when they took the picture. Or maybe it's because I just turned 40 and my eyes are going bad!
Look at the badge on the website again...does it look a prominent "gold" to you?
Oh well, black or gold...I ordered it anyway!! Better to have any color than none at all!!

I have pictures in the 50th anniv merchandise album on my photo.epson site listed below. The 50th anniv name badge is gold.

They do have other ones in different colors and characters. They are not for the 50th though.

Kanga1, I agree with you. Not sure what color it looked like. Where did you order from? I jsut received an email saying mine shipped out today. I will let you know what color it is. I just ordered it on Sat. so I think that is pretty quick.

Ordered mine from laughingplacestore.com. We must've ordered about the same time, because I got an e-mail today too saying it was shipped today. It's got to be gold because it looks exactly like the one in Safteymom's pictures (thanks Safetymom!) except the color is not as pronounced on the website.

I'm so excited because I'm going to put the badge along with a Pal Mickey, an autograph book, and a pin that I ordered at laughing place that has a picture of Mickey and says "My First Trip to Walt Disney World" on the bed in our room when we first get there with a note from "Mickey Mouse" telling my DD4 how happy he is that she came to visit him! He's also going to invite her to have dinner at his place that evening.(Chef Mickey's) We're staying at the Contemporary and having dinner there our first night. I can't wait to see her face!

Kanga1, That sounds like fun. I plan to use mine as a gift also. I love the my first trip pin. I didnt see that!! We are eating at Chef Mickey's the first night too. Have fun.

I just received my DS's badge in the mail. I ordered it from The Laughinplace and it is gold. You can make it a badge, magnet or keychain. I love it. I think I will make it a badge for our trip and then change it when we get home.
