New menu introduced at Boatwright's Dining Hall at Port Orleans Riverside

I like it! We are staying at POFQ in December and I made a reservation at Boatwright's for our last night...even though recent reviews are kind of "meh." Now with a new menu, I'm super excited to try it. Everything looks really tasty in the photos!

Definitely glad to see the menu skew more traditional creole/Southern. Fingers crossed they can now execute it well.

The Hot Chicken looks good.Eaten there the last few trips and it has been good . Hot Chicken looks better than the Chicken n Waffle dish they had a few years ago( it was dry boneless breast) . We have had the Shrimp n Grits , Jambalaya & Ribs all were better then that Chicken dish. We stay at POFQ so it has been a go to Saturday dinner if we don't have an ADR elsewhere.

Many years ago when it was still called Dixie Landings (which I still call it) they had the best dish, strawberries with chantilly cream and brown sugar. I think I ordered it every time we were there. If they brought that back I would go for sure.

We ate there two weeks ago and had the new menu. The Louisianna Lugger was excellent, especially the sweet potato hash. I could have eaten a plate of just sweet potato hash. DH was disappointed that some of the desserts have changed.
Excellent meal-I don't know why we waited so long to dine there. We'll definitely go back.
