New Membership Questions

Just got my "Welcome Home" email and I was told that my escrow had closed and we are officially Disney Vacation Club members. I went on to the OC Comptroller website and we are already showing up in the system.

So two questions for you DVC experts:
1.) How long will it take to get a membership number and for the points to load in the system?
2.) When would we be able to go to SSR and get membership cards printed? We are going to be in Orlando Friday to Monday and would pop in if this was possible.

It can take upto another week before you are fully loaded in the DVC system.
I would start calling the 1-800 number daily starting on Friday asking if you are in the system. They can give you your member number over the phone; you will need the contract number, and some other information from the closing documents to verify yourself.

Some have reported waiting 10-14 days. The key is the settlement date on your buyers statement and what day of the week it is. Disney usually works resales on Tuesdays.
