New Membership ID?

I recently sold a contract (my only one) and purchased a new contract (different use year).

I believe that means I get a new membership ID number. Does that also mean I will have to create a new username and password for the DVC site? Or do multiple membership IDs get stored under the same username?
 
Not sure because you have already sold the only contract that was connected to your website account.

When one adds a new contract but different use year, you get a new member number, but as long as the named owners remain exactly the same that new membership will be put in with your already existing DVC website account -- the two memberships are just listed separately in the same account and cannot be mixed together to make single reservations.

But I do not know if that will happen with you because you may be deemed to have closed out the account that already existed via the sale.

Thank you for your answer! Yes it'll be interesting to see. I closed both contracts (the one I'm selling and the one I'm buying) on the same day. Will be interesting to see what Disney does. I'm hoping to avoid a member services call if I can, lol. Fingers crossed

Send an email to membership administration with info from both so maybe they can just load it into the same account for you.
