we just joined dvc and booked first trip for june at bcv. we are thinking about adding a disney cruise to the trip can we book thru member services? or is going thru dcl a better option?

From what I know, if you are using points, or points and cash, you have to go through MS.

Then you might want to check out Dreams Unlimited, sounds like quite a few DIS'ers and DVC'ers use them.
