New Marvel and Disney character bus arrives at Walt Disney World

A bus at Walt Disney World has been "wrapped" with Marvel characters to promote the new Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel TV special. See photos at the link below!

I was wondering how Disney would work the characters into the park experience even if they couldn't get them into the actual parks. Looks like they found a loophole in that "exclusive use of characters" thing with Universal.

Yuck, yuck, yuck. Sorry, I'm just not a fan of this collaboration. Phineas & Ferb and Marvel? and later Star Wars? Ugh. I think someone on FB put it best: these characters should stay at Universal; they're so not Disney. With that being said, I understand the company's desire to appeal more to boys, and this could very well accomplish it. I just don't hope Disney turns into a Marvel universe. That just doesn't feel like Disney to me.

Being a dad of 2 boys 11&13 this is something that they can relate to. Pirates are pretty cool but for how long? We are all huge P&F fans and also love marvel and especially Star Wars, so combining them in my eyes is awesome.
There is a huge potential for merchandise dollars here and I don't think that Disney will let this opportunity slip by. I for one have my wallet on standby for the right merchandise come October when we are in the world.

Not that it's the first time we've disagreed... But I don't understand.

Are you anti The Muppets? What about when the Power Rangers were around? Disney has acquired characters and properties for years. Many of which don't fit under the clean Disney umbrella.

Just happened to see the bus on my way into DHS a few minutes ago. It started pulling away before I got my phone out though.

Disney cannot advertise those characters inside the parks. Buses don't go into the parks so no loophole. This is just like the Avengers skin on the monorail not be allowed into Epcot so nothing new here. I wonder what the CMs are going to tell the people who want to meet Hulk and Spiderman? I would imagine newbies will think since Disney is advertising Marvel on their buses, the characters will be in the parks. Since Disney decided to use those three specific characters, it's a perfect advertisement for IOA. Disney has 1000's of Marvel characters they can use but they chose two of the most popular.
