new mac issues , help D:

so today we got a mac but i'm having alot of issues with two things.

1) i cant transfer my itunes purchases from the other computer over
the box for "erase & sync" and "transfer purchases" comes up & i press transfer purchases and it says its syncing but then it doesn't do anything?

2) photobooth didn't come on the computer?

I believe you have to authorize iTunes on the new computer to play your purchases. I think all you have to do is sign in to iTunes on your new computer and it might ask you if you want to authorize this computer. Hit yes, and then you might be able to listen to the songs...I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think that's how it works. Hope it helps.

andy is right...you do have to authorize it before it will transfer your purchases
and you can't transfer them from your ipod to the computer. you have to go to the iTunes store and do it there. if you really wanna know PM me cuz i'll have to look up how to do it.

and photobooth is under finder and applications.
at least that's where it is on my macbook.
