Belle I know this is your thread and good deed but when I saw the above post I wanted to cry and laugh at the same time.. I too have staring contests with my little Stella dog and - cough - I always win... I have an extra dog and tho I know in a couple moons down the road they will probably be worth a fortune I think that VirtuallyMe should have one too.. I'll donate one for him to have as long as he allows the dog to win sometimes too..

What you are telling me and the entire DIS community is that you appreciate that I worked for 3 days to help MANY others (several of whom have spoken for me above), but because I was also successful at completing a very difficult challenge myself, I'm not worthy of others kindness?

OUCH.

So much for hard work and karma, huh? I almost wish I had failed the quest, seems people hold it against you for succeeding.

(By the way, I was never asking for it for free... I just really want a doggie that I didn't get to buy because of helping people through pirates.)

Wow Dreams, that is a really rude post. Last time I checked, the dogs are Belle's to do with what SHE wants. A LOT of VMKers helped people out this weekend, not just you. Julie was definitely one of those people so, I for one, am glad that Ruth decided to gift one to her daughter. Shame on you for acting so childish...

My error completely and I apologize.

I apologize publicly for my post above, Belle. I have had many people treat me very meanly in the last 24 hours simply because I finished the monster quest. I truly told 2 close vmk friends last night that I almost wish I had not completed the quest because of how people are acting towards those of us that have finished.

When I read this last night:

I decide on a third how could I not give a dog to dreams after that post. I saw how hard she worked to get many people through. But I know you won a big booty so you can adopt your at cost

I truly read your post to say that since I finished the quest and "won the big booty," I was not deserving of winning yours and could go trade for 1 with someone else (which btw I tried to do for 4 hours yesterday and could not find). I realize this morning (with fresh eyes and having stepped away from the entire quest nightmare for about 18 hours) that you were being kind and offering to trade me one. I SOOOOO did not read your post that way.

I thought it said, "Since you were successful, go find your own." I realize that is not what you meant now and I just want to apologize. What seemed to be yet another slap for finishing was just the last straw and I had one of those ugly moments we wish we could reverse.

I posted late at night, when admittedly I was very upset about this entire VMK disaster that has left so many upset and players turning against each other. I probably should not have posted anything in that frame of mind. I read your post that I could trade for my own dog since "I had won the big booty" and it was the last piece that set me over the edge wishing I had never completed the stupid quest. It felt like I lost out on your kindness due to being successful.

Thanks for offering to trade 1 to me. (I would have been happy to do so if I had only understood that's what you meant.) Again, sorry. It was a misunderstanding that stung in a series of stings over the last 24 hours and I snapped. My fault completely. I totally misunderstood. I was wrong and I am sorry.

I agree that many many many helped, which was wonderful. I, too, am happy that Belle chose to give a dog to a kid who didn't get one.

I misunderstood Belle's comment as just 1 more hit for being successful on the quest and it was the 1 that sent me over the edge. I was completely wrong. I believe in owning my errors and admitting I was wrong. You are correct. I misunderstood, I was really hurt, I snapped, and I was wrong.

Sorry Belle. Thanks for giving the 2 away that you did so others could have an item they wanted and thanks for offering to trade me 1. Sorry I misunderstood and had my ugly moment. Hopefully your third can go to someone else who missed out on it as well.

We had a lovely dog adoption ceremony last night. Cute has already named her dog max.

Because of this thread another kind diser whent around yesterday to trade to get dogs for me to gift away. So she provided provided me with a new litter.
This kind hearted person gave me five dogs.

I have already given many of them away or they are still waiting to be picked up. Since I do not just trade them. I Have everyone promise to look after their dog, feed it treats and GOOD Food. Visit it everyday. And Glove it always

Makes it more special.

I have two more left so if you would like a dog please PM me and tell me why you would like to adopt one.

As to not repeat the last gift giving dog contest I will read the ones sent to me in a pm. I will pm back if you are a new mummy or daddy.Also anyone that particiapted in the last doggy give away is not eligible for the new one.

If anyone would like to donate to the Littlebelle's Dog Adoption agency plz let me know.

I will post on this thread the new Mommies or daddy's.

My heart was touched by the kindness I saw not only from Belle, from from the other very kind dis'er who showed up to gift her some dogs to put up for adoption.

Wanted to share with you Belle, our real dog Max, that my daughter told me to name my new virtual doggie after (she is trying to name hers after one of our guinea pigs, but we can't say "Bub" in vmk, rofl)

As you can see, he's a very happy dog, lol. He has changed our lives in ways I could not even imagine before ever having a dog. And he rules our household he is soooooooo spoiled, as he should be!!!

So tyvm again for the wonderful gift.

Two more dogs found a good home. Here is my a reply I got from Amy E when I said I had two dogs for her kids.

Thank you so much - my kids are so excited. They want a real dog so bad but I am allergic so they are excited about their VMK dog. The only pets we have are geckos - Sadie and Sticky Feet. I think the dogs are going to be named in honor of them.

We again had the adoption ceremony and it was cute. AmyE said her daugher had gone to get her stuff doggy and was holding it while she promise to love her dog always. Take good care of it. And feed it good food and treats

I am a huge animal lover and would love to adopt a puppy. After trying unsuccessfully to complete the pirate quest I was just too exhaused to even think about going to Neds, sigh. However I am pleased to say I did help to get many others through woot!! I was so wanting to get the ears for my granddaughter who has been in the hospital for over a week now. She would have loved them but since I couldn't finish I think a new puppy would be just as nice a surpise for her. Thanks for your consideration and generosity!
