Ok knowing this would happen I went over to Ned's and picked up a couple of extra pirate dogs.

Now this in not for highest bidder why because not all richer people are meant to be parents

What I would like is cost but may just give away too. It can be buyables

I also know some are still slugging it out in pirates right now helping so no decision will be made until tomorrow. To give everyone a fair shot at these dogs. Thanks


Requirements to get one of two dogs

Why you would loved to adopt this cute doggie.

Why you were unable to attain these dogs. ie stuck in pirates being a good friend to the bitter end

Why am I doing this?

I want to to thank people who really really tried to help others. I know there are probably some dog lovers who missed this short opportunity.

Also no pm what to keep this all above board.

Wanted:

A sweet, loyal dog looking for a good home to a caring human cartoon-looking companion who adores dogs and dreams of having her own in the virtual world. Dog will be treated as family, not something that is "owned."

Looked at doggie through the window, but didn't get the time to adopt a tender buddy due to trying to pull friends old and new through the pirate seas in the middle of a frantic search for lost treasure.

If able to adopt, Buddy will never be traded, will be given lots of visitors, will not be tucked away in some dark store room, but rather played with on a regular basis and the center of attention. This will be his home for life.

In the real world, the week I moved into my house (and FINALLY had a yard for a dog to play in), we rescued a dog from a shelter. He is my buddy, my companion, my angel. He is by my side every minute that I am playing on VMK. He even tried to climb on the laptop some days. I am often positioned in a unique way on the couch so that my pup can be on my lap while I play. He has my heart in the real world and I can't believe I missed his virtual world counterpart in the midst of helping others through the crashing and the high seas.

Wanted: a companion dog for the one I got for my daughter. We are huge pet lovers. I got her one dog and forgot to get any more because I spent my time helping others get through the quest (I am not doing the quest for myself or my daughter) and I had planned to get her at least one more. She LOVES dogs. I can't even believe I forgot to go back and get more!!! But she does have one so if you find someone who needs it more than we do, please don't hesitate to help them instead.

But, if you should chose us, it will have a good home forever.

What wonderful applications for dog ownership. I know this is going to be tough so many animal lovers. And both work helping many. One with nothing to gain at all another for days on end.

Well, I'll post for the heck of it, but there are others who really deserve these dogs, and I hope they get them! (I have a trade thread asking for some so maybe I'll have some luck there.)

The dog with the key on POTC has always been one of my favorite parts of the attraction. (And even though I don't have any dogs of my own right now, I do love them as much as I love cats.)

Why I want to adopt a dog?

I love dogs. They are very cute and cuddlely
They are the most loyal creature alive (except for my real life dog- Max- who is really the best dog alive)- they make good friends when you want to be alone in your room- but not really alone.
The wagging tail makes me happy. I like how they nod their heads and tell you yes all the time too. And I want to have a staring contest to see if I can beat him like my real life dog too.
Dogs are really great to have around to play with and to love.
I would take good care of the dog and keep it really happy I would feed my dog each day

I was not able to get a dog of my own because my mom spent the weekend playing pirates and stuff and I couldn't get on the computer.

for offering a dog for adoption. I have lots of different things for trade- and mom said she would offer something too...

OMGosh! When did you come back?!? I was just thinking about you this AM and how you helped me with one of these impossible quests' fireworks games a couple years ago!

Dog adoption is a great idea. I'm so glad my one girl did buy a dog bc I think I only got one, being low on credits and hearing new magic was out...which if it was I never did get it and it's not there now...

Should you have additional homeless creatures, I would surely adopt one for Scooterbdooter, my younger daughter who has crossed the river to webkinz and Starbrite (or whatever it's called) for the moment. I keep her updated bc I know she'll be back more regularly when our next Disney trip planning starts, if not sooner. Her references: loving caregiver to 3 real life dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs. She allowed mom major computer time w/out whining for attention or too long of backrubs so that I could do my best for 3 days helping others play pirates and eventually getting my own turn in (and her sister's turn since that would have been an impossible task for KiwiKrazy). As often as I say NO more stuffed animals in the house (ok, so my dh says NO more REAL animals...but yet they still come), there's nothing that puts a bigger smile on her face.

No worries if we're not chosen, I'm sure they'll come back sooner or later - like during the 4th year of Pirate's month! And I wanted to share her story, lol.

Dreams how rude I added another dog so you could have one at cost. The first two winners. All I was asking was cost since Kutie is is kid and a pirate never finished the quest.

You can not afford 2500 for a dog I was not even raising the price. I did not have to add a third dog but wanted tomake sure you got one.

No way no how I am very upset right now will never offer help again.
Remember there were two winners only. I just felt bad you did not have time to get one. instead of keeping for dogs for myself which I wanted I gave on up for you. But as I can see my generostiy just means getting bashed.

So you are saying that you should have won this contest when a liitle kid never got one, and another never got one because they gave of their time to help just like you did but never finished the quest and you will not pay cost.How very sad!!!!

I too helped many and many and many and managed to also think about others that would forget about getting a dog. And got a few extra.

To Clear up any confusion this is why

Pirate won the dog. and is not paying cost for it.

You helped many even if you decided not to do the quest because of the many issues you saw and were having.

To me that is even more special. Many helped over and over because they were helped. And felt obilgated. Others were just the kind generous people they normally are.

You could have easily walked away and say no way am I getting mixed up in this disaster. But no you stayed to help.

That is why you won the dog.

Belle I know this is your thread and good deed but when I saw the above post I wanted to cry and laugh at the same time.. I too have staring contests with my little Stella dog and - cough - I always win... I have an extra dog and tho I know in a couple moons down the road they will probably be worth a fortune I think that VirtuallyMe should have one too.. I'll donate one for him to have as long as he allows the dog to win sometimes too..
