New Limited Edition MagicBand being released at Hollywood Studios tomorrow

Release date is November 3rd, 2014. It's another Frozen one, but because it's no longer "in summer", they've changed it to Olaf in a Santa hat.

Limited to 5000 at Wandering Oaken's Trading Post. These will make special lights and sounds at FP+ touchpoints.

Went to Hollywood Studios today and the CM at Wandering Oakens told me that they will actually be released tomorrow (11/4).

I'll check back again tomorrow and post a video with the lights/sounds it makes.

We bought the limited edition MNSSHP ones and they were very cool. They swirled muliti-colored and Mickey said Happy Halloween at the entrance to FP+ and MK. Many CMs had never seen them as well and commented a lot about seeing their first ones. The only bummer was that they only swirled multi-colored and said Happy Halloween at MK. For the price they should have worked that way at all the parks. Very fun but I won't spend the money again unless it works everywhere.

Don't be shocked if on your next trip it doesn't do that at all. I stopped buy LE when my Yoda stopped working aft SWW were up. I figured it wouldn't be that hard to keep letting it spin green and says what it said even after the event was over.

Yoda still works. Ours just did it the other day. It only works at certain FP+ touchpoints in Hollywood Studios.

We have Darth Vader (and all other Limited Edition bands) as well and they all still work.

Interesting. I used my on every trip since I got it and it worked but didn't make noises any more. Also had friends report theirs didn't make the Darth Maul noise either.
