This challenge should be simple and hopefully have a lot of participation!!! It is not very creative I realize, but I know every one has year end goals to meet or new ones to begin in terms of scrapbooking. So I wanted to make this challenge easy for everyone to join, but fun to help jazz up our layouts a little! No excuses ladies :goodvibes For this challenge you need to do the following on your layout. You can use/do a lot or a little of items listed below, just somewhere on your layout anywhere you choose.

* Use ribbon or fiber
* Use ink or chalk
* Use a punch (could even be a simple corner or circle punch-your choice)
* Use brads, buttons, or bling somewhere

I will add my example to this post later- I hope to work on this later tonight if I can clean up my space a little. Christmas has over taken every room in my house :eek:

Ok so it is the next morning, but here is my example.

My little pumpkins are actually my one inch circle punches. I chalked around each pumpkin too. There is a little brown ribbon mixed in with the pumpkins too that is a little hard to see in the pic. Got lazy and didn't use the cricut at all on this page.

Did another layout, thought I would share.

Chalk around the sticker title, jack o'lantern ribbon with the title, orange bling, and scallop punch on the edge.

Those are great!! I hope to work on this yet this weekend... Cleaning today and helping PJ get caught up on the scrapbook she is responsible for for Stu-Co. almost done with that task! ;)

I am on a roll.. Motivated to get done with 2010. I am on Christmas now-the never ending holiday to scrap :goodvibes The tabs on the right are hard to see in the picture. The paper is witch hats with cauldrons, with large Halloween brads in the center.

And another......:rotfl: Was inspired by a sketch on AWM's sketch swap with this one.

Michelle those are all sooooo cute! I really love the Christmas tree one :)

Very cute. I like how you did the ribbons for pumpkin stems.

Michelle, you've been busy! Love all the different examples!! I'm hoping to have an entry posted before the week is over.

I used ribbon for my hidden journaling tag. And put a little red bling there in the corner.

Did two pages yesterday and was surprised to find they "fit" this challenge - IF you can accept 'photo ribbon' as ribbon.

2012January004.jpg

Paper, gems & letter stickers are from last year's Sharon Ann collection from Little Yellow Bicycle.

Ribbon on the ornament was fussy cut - and the ribbon on the little girls was on another part of the card, cut out and applied to the corner. That same photo is inked in gold because it had white edges - AND they're two of my "borrowed" grand kids.

For bling, there are both Stickles and gems.

Corner rounder used on what? I know I used it! Did I move that photo to the next page? Must have. Oh well, I guess this one doesn't qualify after all.
:guilty:

I *think* i'll cover up the sub title and change it to read "Friends are the ornaments on the tree of life". I LOVE getting photos at Christmas :love:

Cute!! Great job!! Your pictures shaped as circles must have required some type of tool so we can say that was your "punch" :goodvibes I am not very picky!! Just trying to make the challenge easy so people get some of their scrapping done!!

Actually, that "circle" was preprinted in the card! But I did go back and corner punch the photo of two people with the dog, just to make it legit! Also changed the title. I have two more to post later.

Yesterday's layout has sparkly "bling" lettering I just have to upload it and will come back and post later on.

Another two page spread meeting the criteria. (This time, the gold inking is around the pages)

I only have 2 punches (drippy goo & corner punch -- really need to get more but then I think I could just make it in SCAL)
I'm not much of a ribbon/fiber scrapper (must be too girlly since I usually scrap boys)

* Use ribbon or fiber
* Use ink or chalk
* Use a punch (could even be a simple corner or circle punch-your choice)
* Use brads, buttons, or bling somewhere

Ok.. I scrapbooked this weekend, and just saw this post and one of my pages fits the requirements *almost* perfectly!!!

2012_01_08_0468.JPG

* Use ribbon or fiber - red and white baker's twine
* Use ink or chalk - does paint count? I painted the edge of the acrylic star yellow
* Use a punch (could even be a simple corner or circle punch-your choice) - red polka dot scalloped circles are from a MS punch
* Use brads, buttons, or bling somewhere - Blingy star and lots of stickles!
