amaa, How or where did you find out about the FL Resident discount?

I have seen FL resident Resort discount deals in the past on Disney's Site, but I have never been able to get a FW site discount. I had the feeling that Disney associated 10 Campsites to the discount and once they were taken that was it.

Bama Ed .... I read some place here today that you can use a bill (in-lieu of a Photo ID/ FL Drivers License, such as electric, water, cable TV as proof of residency. The utility bill has to have a Florida address and your name on it ....... soooo if you want to pay my cable TV bill I'd be happy to put it in your name and then you can claim FL residency and take advantage of those discounts.

I wonder if what I read was true? It was in the context of a person who had a summer home in FL that was not their primary residence.

The occasional FL resident resort and pass Discounts are a nice perk to living in Florida, but I did have to actually move here from PA in 2006 to become a resident.

I got an email about the discount and was surprised when I saw the Fort listed. We've been there the past several years at this time and of the four full hook up loops, only one was pretty full. Maybe they've realized they need to offer discount to increase occupancy

I'm going in April. Still waiting for the AAA discount. Hopefully we'll get some sort of discount. Right now the cost is $159/night (including tax). Yikes!
