New Lanyards

In case others haven't seen them yet, Disney released new (or new to me!) lanyards this month at WDW. They come in a variety of colors, with Walt Disney World printed along the lanyard. They retail for $5 instead of $8 or $10. There are 2 big differences between the new ones and the standards: first, they have a very cheap pin trader plastic card at the bottom (bendable plastic). Second, and this is the BIG upside for me -- they are VERY soft. My dh and dd do not like the roughness of the old lanyards against their necks (esp. after several hours in the sun), and these are much gentler on the skin.

I discovered the new lanyards when we were there last week and boy are they great. I bought several since they are only $5 but like you said -- the biggest difference is that they are softer. It's much easier on the neck with these new lanyards and the purplish one is a pretty neat color. I'm sure my 11 year old granddaughter is going to be tickled when she sees what I got her for our next trip in December.

I'm gonna have to buy ne of those. The rougness kills me on the old ones.
