New Kidani Resort & Pool Video! 4/26/2009 updtd 4/30

Updated post 1 with links off to Denise's 3 Pool videos and her website which also hosts tons of other images and comments.

Denise, the response to your videos has been tremendous! I think DVC needs to pay you for marketing ;) I honestly can't get enough & know I'll be watching these long after I've visited and returned. :wizard:

Oh, BTW - the special treat in the library I referred to, in my mind wasn't the tapestries but a *real* fireplace which had been rumored to be a fake. You'll be able to find me cozied up by the fireplace during our late fall & winter visits :3dglasses

I had a chance to check out the Founders tapestries last night and as Denise said, they are just tapestries not robes. The neck opening is just black fabric and the "armholes" just look like armholes. But it is very clever I think! The first letter of the names is actually a little creature of some sort, a butterfly or a little caterpiller for example. Nicely done.

And overall I think the library is a wonderful space with lots of places for people to sit and relax, a wonderful fireplace (nicer than the one in Jambo House in my opinion because of the warm lighting), and a doorway out to an animal viewing area.

can drinks or snacks be brought into the library?
is there a lounge in Kidani, like there is in Jambo?

Thanks for the videos. It sure looks like they have “solved” one of my biggest complaints about the pool areas at both DCV and the deluxe resorts, lots of seating, especially a reasonable number of covered table for those who do not want to “roast”.

A little over 30 days and I will be there YA!

There are little tables in there so you could probably bring in a drink. It seems like a nice place to sit and relax. They have some activities there as well such as storytelling.

There is a lounge too. It is right next to Sanaa which is on the ground floor (below the lobby level). We passed through there after dinner. It is not very large but looked quite nice with very interesting chairs.
