I'm very excited I'm starting my new job as the Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilites at Rhode Island College on Tuesday. I wasn't expecting to get my dream job so quickly after graduate school but I'm ready. So, when your kids are ready for college send them my way. I also willing to answer an questions that some of your college bound kids might have about being a college student with a disability (been there, done that). I know it can be a scary time. Just wanted to let you know I was here.

That is wonderful!

When I was in college (MANY years ago) I made all my book and food money by being a tutor and peer counselor, note-taker and student assistant for the Disabled Student Services. It was quite the eye-opening job for me. :)

Congratulations on your new job! That's really cool.
