New Jetblue credit card might be worth it for JB travelers?

Just saw this today:

I like Jetblue - wondering if it's worth it for our family. I'm interested to see if they will have a nice signup bonus.

Edit: I noticed this is for EXISTING card holders. I will assume the cards will be the same for new card holders. I cancelled mine before the fee came up so I would be a "new" cardholder.

Thanks! I've been waiting for some info on the new card. I signed up for the JetBlue Amex the middle of last year specifically because I knew it was going away and I wanted to collect the 20K mile sign-up bonus. My plan was to cancel the card before the transition and then sign up as a new cardholder when it switched to Barclay, hopefully collecting another sign-up bonus. I just wish I knew if the signup bonus for new cardholders is going to be better than the $100 companion travel discount they're offering current customers.

I cancelled my Jetblue Amex too just before I had to pay the annual fee. I think the continued annual fee is a deal breaker for me to reacquire this branded card. I have a very hard time paying for the card itself unless the perk will outweigh the fee by quite a bit, and in our case, I don't think it will. It is a much better set of perks for those people it will work for, so that is good news!!!

I got the paperwork today on the Barclay card even though I cancelled my JetBlue Amex some time ago. Companion fare $100 will expire one year after you get it, or June 2017.
