This pictures were taken (and posted on another site) by StitchMad... they are from DLR VMK Central at the kiosk outside what used to be CoP and is now inventions home of most of VMK central at DLR

I am not sure if he poked and prodded for details or not... but I am sure more details are to follow...

Also Pirate-Emery... was that a date you pulled out of your hat? What leads you to belive that April is the month??

Aww. Bummer. But doesn't a Disney park have a McDonald's somewhere on site? I don't recall the exact name (and don't want to look it up), or isn't there a food stand that sells McDonald's fries?

My understanding was that they no longer have the exclusive ties with Happy Meals, but still may have promotions at McDonalds. Of course if they don't want to do it at McDonalds they could do it in any kids meals.

In Frontierland there is a wagon that sells McDonald's fries.
In DCA there is out of this world burgers sponsered by McDonalds (otherwise known as being a McDonald's restaurant).

Anyways - Those items are very cute! I can imagine where people will end up getting them... Online Disney shopping. When you think about it, it's one of the few places that they didn't hit yet which they should hit.

I read one of the articles and it stated this:

The arrangement, involving the distribution of Disney film characters along with McDonald's Happy Meals, will end with this summer's release of "Cars" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," the Los Angeles Times reported.

I found this interesting because while the article stated that the relationship would end with Cars & POTC2, there were still Happy Meal toys for The Little Mermaid which rereleased in October...a few months after both of those movies.

A while back wasn't there something in the newsletter about a classic disney room? These items would go perfectly in a room like that. Like Tom Petty says.. the waiting is the hardest part!

I know this is probably wrong .. but is it possible that these are another set of pins? The pirates set of vmk pins has series 1 on the card.. maybe this is series 2?
