New incentives?

Didn't the free annual pass incentive end on Jan 31? If so, any indications what the next incentive will be?

I have been holding my contract, waiting to see if the deals got any better. I am not sure how long I can hold them(it's been since middle of Jan) but I was hoping BLT's offer would get a little better.

When I was holding my contract until I received an answer about splitting a 200 pt. BLT contract into 2 100 pt. contracts, because my guide was on vacation, DVD sent me a letter telling me they would cancel it if it wasn't returned by a certain date. For me, my guide came back and I got permission to do the split. I'm not certain why they didn't do this when I requested it since it seems to be a normal practice for them. Anyways, then they needed to rewrite the contracts, but with the same incentives, so the deadline from DVD became moot.

i called today to see about buying BLT. I asked about a June use year and getting the 2009 points and he told me he would have to check and see, that they probably couldn't offer it. which i thought was weird, don't they always give you the previous year points (except in rare cases)? i guess maybe he was saying they wouldn't make an exception to the 'banking rule' though and we would have to use before june.

he managed to get it done for us though- so we can bank the june 2009 points even though past deadline.

i was told the $5 off but that was it. nothing else I have heard of as of yet.

Thanks for the updates. I guess with BLT selling so fast, they don't need to do any further incentives. I wish I bought last year when the offers were better.

Actually, June UY's are still in 2009 so those would be current points. There shouldn't be a problem getting that. He may have been referring to banking but that was now written up in the new rules and shouldn't be much of a problem either. Getting current points should be a no brainer either way. It would be a pretty tough sale IMO if they wouldn't even give you current points.

Yea, talked to my guide today. Nothing new. He said he hasnt heard of any new incetives down the pipeline. Seriously considering resale.

My guide offered me $15 off per point at AKV with a purchase of 50 or more points. It took us three years to catch addonitis! I am happy to have 2 home resorts now
