Hi! This is my first post here and I'm in need of some help. My trip isn't until Oct 2014, so there is plenty of time to plan. However, I am very much leaning towards staying on Disney property since we will be traveling with my son who will be 3 when we travel. Nap times are important still.....the transportation just seems easier. We liked staying at the Value resorts when we traveled to Disney for our honeymoon and are considering doing so again. What would be the best time to book? When do these pins/codes seem to arrive? I'd hate to book and then end up with a discount we could have used. Tips? Ideas for traveling with a 3 year old to the parks? SOOO excited! Thank you!

We took our children when they were little. One was almost 3 and the other was 4. We stayed at the Value Resort with them and they loved it. My best advice is to plan an afternoon nap time back at the resort. They also loved holding the park maps. The maps have pictures and they loved navigating...well as much as a 3/4 year old can. Take lots of pictures. Everything is magical to them.

Welcomed to the boards. A lot of help can be found here.You can book anytime you want. When codes become available you can call and have them applied. They will be here and on the Disney site as well(the general public ones are.) Not allows to post them or pins on the boards though.As for as pins goes there are random, Some people have theories, I have received then in the past because we use to go about every 2 years. We like to leave the parks as well around 12 or 1 because they are so crowded go back and rest and we are adults. lol Enjoy your trip.
