Hi I think I have seen the answer to this question posted before but I can't find it anywhere now so I could use some help.

We are staying on Disney grounds for the first time in Sept/Oct at the POFQ, standard room, non smoking and I was wondering if you could give me some ideas of which buildings I should try to request our room in. We are traveling with our 2 children: DS/12yrs and DS/2yrs old, so I was also looking for some really great places to eat(to use our Free Dining to the fullest) at that might be really kid friendly for little one?

Thanks

Our family loves POFQ and stay there often. I like building 5. One side is water view and the other is standard, but it's an interior building, so you get a beutiful garden/courtyard view. We also like building4 (but I think they recently made it smoking when they renovated the resort)as long as it's close to the food court.

Character meals are always great choices with the little ones. The buffet ones are the best, since they usually have all the "kid choices" and they can pick and choose as they please. Our family loves to do Chef Mickey's for dinner. The kids love the make your own ice cream bar. In Epcot, we like Le Cellier for dinner. The food is great and the kids love the pretzel bread.

Have a great time.

I agree that building #5 is ideal. Wisphering canyon Cafe was my 2 1/2 yo's favorite place to dine. She asks to go back almost every day! Liberty Tree Tavern is a nice character meal that serves a thanksgiving type meal. You can check out the menus at http://www.allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm

Have fun planning! :earsboy:
