I like the name, but there is one in the next town over! :( Everyone has all the great names, that's why I'm having such a hard time. Thanks!!

I've seen two of them which were very clever ..

Split Enz

Haircut 100

If you werent' aware, both of those spellings were new wave groups in the early 80's. I was a fan of both groups, so those made me smile.

The Haircut 100 had a street address of 100 something so that was EXTRA clever.

I've also seen Strands (a more ethnic place)
I've also seen Blow and Tease.... I knew it was a hair place, but others well... not sure.

If you want to get fancy, how about...

Bon Cheveu

It simply means "good hair" in French.:D

  That's a clever one, lol. I remember those bands!!! I know that there is a strands here in nh. I don't think I'll go with the last one:p

Here are the ones that I came up with:
Trendz
Head East
Creative Edge

I'm leaning more towards Head East, what do you guys think?

Curl up and Dye is popular around here.. theres at least two of them.

Another place is clippies

Pelo Hermoso is beautiful hair in Spanish
Buen pelo is good hair in Spanish
Capilli Bei is beautiful hair in Italian

I like the Italian one..

No suggestions from me. Just wanted to welcome you to the Community Board. I hope you can visit often :)

What do you hope the demographics of your shop will be - a family place or more of a salon for women?

I know this is not trendy or cutsie, but how about Brenda {insert last name} Salon? Very classy IMHO. A place I would definitely check out.

Now for the kitchie response: Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow. :duck:

Ohh, I like that one. Sounds so elegant.

I thought the curl up and dye thing was a joke!!! That is kind of a morbid one.

My sister goes to a place called "The big hairy deal" , sounds kind of gross to me.

If you don't want to be creative, just name it after the street you have it on, like the 45th street salon.
