NEW Harambe Nights event Summer 2014 Animal Kingdom

Hi all! I have my tickets for the very first Harambe Nights on June 7th! I have a thread going here. I will be going into depth about the showing and the food and beverages! I hope it will be informative for people who are going/interested in going!

Also if anyone was interested in knowing- I contacted Disney yesterday in regards to shuttle services after the event ends. Normally parks will have shuttle service an hour before and an hour after the park closes. Because of Harambe Nights, AK will be offering shuttle services after Harambe Nights ends.

I know this hasn't transpired yet, but I am hoping someone had asked the CM when they booked. Is there transportation available for the event?

We booked ours and I didn't think to ask this, I re-read it and nothing was noted other then parking. Hoping there is because we would rather use transportation then drive and park especially since we can drink.

If not I guess I am calling and waiting on hold, TYIA.

I received my tickets for July 5th yesterday! I'm totally excited too. I also booked premium seats. It will be me and my DD14! Can't wait to see reviews.

I did the print at home option for my Harambe ticket. Did anyone else do this or are most of you having it mailed to you? Kind a wishing I had done the mail so I would have received a more official looking ticket. The paper is pretty plain!!!

I haven't a clue what I did. I guess I need to check. I see them in MDE so I hadn't even thought about needing the ticket too.

I, too, was hoping for a special looking souvenir ticket but Disney opted for plaino Mickey and Minnie for us. Still glad to have them in hand. Going August 2nd. Very much looking forward to it now.
Several good points have been made on this thread re: price, children & why Disney is doing this. Kudos to everyone for their input, regardless of viewpoint.

Mine aren't showing up on MDE - do I just link them like a dining reservation?

They should have given you a confirmation number when you ordered them, you can link them that way just like you would dining reservation numbers, or use the numbers on the back of the card if you received yours in the mail already.

I didn't do anything to make them appear in MDE. I did buy them online vs. on the phone, if that makes the difference.

It should be similar to adding park tickets though. There is an alphanumeric number on my confirmation email. Mine starts with an ANGR########. You should be able to enter that in MDE

We are so excited for this event! Our trip is planned for June, but the premium seating was already sold out, so we opted to make some additional reservations, which gives us a whole other weekend trip to look forward to!! Yay!

We booked the Premium Seating for the July 26th event! It is going to be such a great experience I think! Can't wait for all the food and fun!

Jambo!!! I'm so glad that this thread is doing so well with so many posts, so many questions answered by helpful Disers and so many people looking forward to enjoying Harambe Nights! We're about a month away from reviews and pics from the opening night attendees-------so exciting ! Can't wait to see and read them. Kwaherini!

I did. They're fine for me. I like instant gratification. LOL

Yes please... all the opening night attendees I hope you guys come back with some good news. I'm expecting to be able to get in at 4 too, from what the website says.
