New/Good promos to sign up for Disney Visa??

Im thinking about applying for a Disney Visa and am wondering if anyone knows of any good promos going on with sign-up?

The best I have seen recently has been a $40 statement credit after your first purchase. That was offered on the Disney website.

It made more sense for us to sign up for the Chase freedom card. It offers 5% cash back on select categories each quarter and it currently offers a $300 cash back bonus when you spend $500 in the first three months. It offers 1% cash back on everything that isn't included in the current 5% offers.

I do know that one of the benefits of the Disney card is the ability to pay for vacations without interest charges, but for us the extra $300 made that card way better.

And lastly, if you decide to get one card or the other, be aware that you can only get one new chase card every 6 months.

Laurawill thanks for your help. I will look into the other Chase card, but really what I want it for is to pay for our upcomming trip and pay off before interest hits. Have to look at these and see which is the best. Thanks!

Disney Visa had a $200 deal for years. I got it in August. But the links for it are no longer valid. The link I used was for a $100 Statement Credit, and then after I got it, I emailed them and asked for the $100 enrollment bonus to get up to $200, and they added it no questions asked. I've heard it works with the $40 deal too. Check out this thread:
